The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, have excellent written and verbal communication skills with 5 to 10 years’ experience relating to shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, and earth retention. The applicant will need to coordinate, collaborate and execute design reports from field and laboratory data; oversee on-site and laboratory testing; and prepare geotechnical evaluation reports. Earth Exploration, Inc. is seeking an experienced driller for our Indianapolis office to perform sampling and/or well installation on geotechnical and environmental project sites using conventional and/or soil probe equipment. The successful candidate will be a dependable, motivated individual, able to travel, lift up to 100lbs, and handle paperwork in a responsible and timely fashion. A good driving record, physical labor and overtime are also requirements for the position. A valid CDL (or ability to attain soon) is a requirement and a water well license, OSHA training and medical monitoring is a plus. Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug-screen.
